2.12.6. Check of hydropushers of valves of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kw and 1,4 l, 50 kw

THE GENERAL DATA

Knock of valves at engine start-up is not a sign of malfunction of hydropushers of valves.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To start up the engine and to allow to it to work idling before inclusion of the fan of a radiator.

2. To increase frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine approximately to 2500 mines-¹ and to support it within 2 minutes If at this time knock of valves is listened, means, one or several hydropushers are faulty.

3. Uncover heads of the block and turn a cranked shaft so that valves of the fourth cylinder have been opened.

4. Check up, whether there are no backlashes between коромыслами and valves of the first cylinder. Presence of backlashes testifies to malfunction of hydropushers, therefore it is necessary to replace them.

5. If backlashes are not present, slightly press a wooden or plastic wedge 5 (subsection 2.12.5 see) adjusting screws 2. If you have felt that the hydropusher is compressed, means, it is faulty also it it is necessary to replace. In the same way check up other hydropushers, turning a cranked shaft of the engine according to tab. Position of a cranked shaft at adjustment of a starting position of hydropushers.
The prevention
After installation of new hydropushers to start up the engine it is possible not earlier than through 30 mines, differently pistons can strike on valves.
