THE GENERAL DATA

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kw

1 – connecting колодка;

2 – the gauge of temperature of air

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,0 l, 37 kw and 1,4 l, 50 kw

1 – connecting колодка;

2 – the gauge of temperature of air

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,9 l, 74 kw

2 – the gauge of temperature of air

The schedule of dependence of resistance of the gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine from gauge temperature

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the petrol engine, is united in one case with the gauge of pressure of air in an inlet pipe of the engine. Both gauges represent not folding design and are replaced together.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug - the storage battery.
2. At petrol engines remove the top casing of the engine (subsection 2.1 see).
3. At cars with diesel engines remove the right headlight (subsection 10.8 see).
4. Disconnect колодку 1 (fig. the Gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kw, fig. the Gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,0 l, 37 kw and 1,4 l, 50 kw and fig. the Gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine of 1,9 l, 74 kw see) with wires from the gauge of 2 temperatures of air.
5. Remove the gauge of temperature and, having connected to contacts 1 and 2 gauges an ohmmeter, measure resistance of the gauge.
6. Heat up the gauge approximately to 80 With, for example hot air, and again measure its resistance.
7. Compare the received results for petrol engines to the schedule on fig. the Schedule of dependence of resistance of the gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine from gauge temperature, for diesel – on fig. the Schedule of dependence of resistance of the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid from gauge temperature. For example, for petrol engines resistance of the gauge at temperature 20 With makes 2,3–2,6 clod, and at temperature 80 With – 290–330 Ohm. For diesel engines resistance of the gauge at temperature 30 With equal 1,5–2,0 clod, and at temperature 80 With – 275–375 Ohm. If the measured resistance does not correspond specified, replace the gauge.
