11.3.4. Replacement of sealants

THE GENERAL DATA

Installation of sealants of forward doors

1 – a doorway sealant; 2 – the bottom sealant of a door; 3 – a percussion cap; 4 – a lateral sealant of a door

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For replacement of the bottom sealant 2 (fig. Installation of sealants of forward doors see) doors take out percussion caps 3 of the panel of a door and remove a sealant 2. 2. Establish a new sealant upside-down. 3. For replacement of a lateral sealant 4 unstick a sealant from a door. Clear the rests of old glue from a door, degrease a place of fastening and paste a new sealant. 4. For replacement of a sealant of 1 doorway remove a corresponding overlay, and then a sealant. 5. A new sealant start to establish with the top part of an aperture. Thus the sealant joint should be on an average rack of a body on distance And = 300 mm from a threshold.
