Check of tightness of the wheel cylinder

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At removal of a brake drum it is recommended to check periodically tightness of the wheel cylinder 1 (fig. Check of tightness of the wheel cylinder see).

2. For this purpose by means of a wooden or plastic shovel 2 it is cautious not to damage, wring out edges of protective caps 3.

3. If in caps traces of a brake liquid are found out, it is necessary to replace the wheel cylinder.

Replacement
The prevention
The wheel brake cylinder is not subject to repair, in case of malfunction it is necessary to replace it in gathering.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove brake колодки (subsection 9.7.1 see).

2. Turn away a nut of fastening and disconnect a brake tube 10 (fig. Installation of the brake drum-type mechanism of a back wheel see) from the wheel cylinder. Muffle a tube aperture, for example, a cap of the valve of release of air.

3. Turn away two bolts 12 (fig. of the Detail of the brake drum-type mechanism of a back wheel) fastenings see and remove the wheel cylinder 11 from a brake board 14.

4. Establish the wheel cylinder upside-down. Pump over brake system (subsection 9.9.6 see).
