The gauge of position of a camshaft sends to the block of engine management a signal about the ignition moment in the first cylinder. At a gauge exit out of operation the management block passes to the reserve program at which the corner of an advancing of ignition and a spark between electrodes of candles a little decreases slips simultaneously in all four cylinders at each turn of a cranked shaft.

| 1. Disconnect колодку 1 (fig. the Gauge of position of a camshaft of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kw and 1,4 l, 50 kw see) with wires from the gauge of 2 positions of a camshaft. |
| 2. Include ignition. Connect the voltmeter to contacts 1 and "weight" connecting колодки the gauge, then to contacts 2 and "weight". In both cases the voltmeter should show pressure about 5 Century |
| 3. Then connect the voltmeter to contacts 3 колодки and the plug # the storage battery. The voltmeter should show pressure of the storage battery. |
| 4. Otherwise check up wires on breakage and short circuit. |
| 5. If there is no breakage or short circuit in wires, and the voltmeter shows the pressure specified above, replace the gauge of position of a camshaft. |
| 6. If there is no breakage or short circuit in wires, and the voltmeter shows 0, replace the engine management block. |
