8.5.4. Replacement of steering draught

THE GENERAL DATA

Detachment of steering draught from рейки (with the amplifier)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the steering mechanism from the car (subsection 8.5.2 see). 2. Clear the steering mechanism of a dirt, especially in places of landing of protective covers. 3. Remove external 3 (fig. of the Detail of the steering mechanism (with the amplifier see)) and internal 5 collars of fastening of a protective cover. 4. Shift a protective cover 4 aside from картера the steering mechanism. At removal of the right draught also shift a protective cover of the left draught to get access to special лыскам for deduction рейки from проворачивания. Replace the protective cover torn, cracked or lost elasticity 4. 8. Establish on new draught 8 protective cover 4 with collars 3 and 5 and screw a tip 1 on draught according to earlier measured size. The prevention Apply collars of fastening of a protective cover only an original design and manufacture of known manufacturers. 9. Connect steering bent for рейке, having screwed on рейку колпачковую a nut and keeping thus from проворачивания рейку on the left side for лыски. 10. Clear places of landing of a protective cover on картере the steering mechanism and draught. 11. Grease консистентной with flute greasing in places прилегания a protective cover. 12. Establish a protective cover 4 on seats, watching that it was not overwound. 13. Fix a protective cover 4 (fig. Fastening of a protective cover of the steering mechanism see) new collars 2 by means of special pincers 3. 14. Establish the steering mechanism on the car. Thus modify position of a tip of draught at its connection to the rotary lever. Check up and if necessary adjust corners of installation of wheels.
