2.8. Replacement of an epiploon of a camshaft

THE GENERAL DATA

DIESEL ENGINES

The epiploon is made of material ПТФЭ. Before epiploon installation it is forbidden to grease its working edge and a camshaft.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a belt of a drive of a camshaft (subsection 2.4.1 see). 2. Keeping a camshaft from проворачивания, turn away bolts of 1 fastening and remove a pulley 2 camshafts (3 – gear sector). 3. Turn away a bolt of 1 fastening of a nave of a pulley of a camshaft on two turns, keeping thus a shaft from проворачивания. On car repair shops for this purpose apply adaptation T 10051 (2 – a nave; 3 – adaptation T 10051). 4. By means of a stripper 1 shift a nave 2 from a camshaft cone. Then remove a stripper, turn out a bolt of fastening of a nave and remove a nave of a pulley of a camshaft. 5. Take out an epiploon. On car repair shops for this purpose apply a stripper of sealing rings Т 30003. 6. Carefully wipe a camshaft to clear of oil and a dirt. Not to damage a working edge of an epiploon, stick with an adhesive tape a flute on a camshaft cone. 7. Accurately put on a new epiploon a camshaft and запрессуйте by means of approaching оправки against the stop. 8. Establish a nave of a pulley and tighten a bolt of its fastening by the moment 100 Нм. 4. By means of a stripper 1 shift a nave 2 from a camshaft cone. Then remove a stripper, turn out a bolt of fastening of a nave and remove a nave of a pulley of a camshaft. 9. Put on a camshaft pulley a nave, thus gear sector 3 (see above) should be above. Screw manually bolts of 1 fastening of a pulley. 10. Establish a belt of a drive of a camshaft and adjust it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove belts of a drive of camshafts (subsection 2.4.2 see). 2. Keeping distributive shaft from проворачивания, turn away bolts of 1 fastening and remove pulleys of 2 and 29 camshafts. 3. By means of a stripper of sealing rings or having picked up a screw-driver take out epiploons 3. 4. Wipe camshafts and seats under epiploons to clear of a dirt and oil. 5. Grease a working edge of new epiploons with a thin layer of engine oil. 6. Accurately put on epiploons camshafts and запрессуйте against the stop by means of approaching оправки. 7. Establish pulleys of 2 and 29 camshafts and tighten bolts of 1 their fastening in the beginning the moment 20 Нм, and then tighten for 90 . 8. Establish belts of a drive of camshafts and adjust their tension. 9. For replacement of sealing rings 28 remove the ignition module. 10. Turn away bolts of 8 fastenings and remove back covers of 7 and 11 camshafts. 11. Remove sealing rings 28. 12. Grease with a thin layer of engine oil new rings and establish them into place. 13. Establish covers 7 and 11 into place and tighten bolts of their fastening by the moment 10 Нм.
