7.3.5. Removal and shock-absorber installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish couplers on a spring 31 (fig. of the Detail of a back suspension bracket with drum-type brakes) a back suspension bracket of from outside removed shock-absorber see and compress a spring a little. In the absence of a coupler the spring can be connected in the compressed condition a strong wire.
2. Turn away a bolt 23 bottom fastenings of the shock-absorber, keeping other key a nut 22 from проворачивания. Take out a bolt 23.
3. Turn away two bolts 33 top fastenings of the shock-absorber.
4. Remove the shock-absorber 34 from the car.
5. Remove from the shock-absorber the holder 35.
6. Be convinced that the rubber plug of the bottom hinge is not turned in a shock-absorber eye, and it распорная the plug – does not move by pressing.
7. Check up shock-absorber work, moving its rod in both parties against the stop. The rod should move smoothly, without jamming and failures, and the effort of a course of return should be considerable above, than effort of a course of compression.
8. Pay attention to shock-absorber marks. The new shock-absorber establish with the same marks (the same manufacturer). If replace both shock-absorbers, their marks should be identical.
9. Establish the shock-absorber upside-down. Thus a bolt 23 with a nut 22 bottom fastenings and bolts 33 top fastenings of the shock-absorber replace new. The head of a bolt 23 bottom fastenings at installation should be directed to an internal part of the car. A definitive inhaling of a bolt 23 spend on the car standing on the earth.
